Can’t help it. I love all the books that Gabrielle Zevin has written. This is one of her better books. I enjoyed the fact that the dystopia was a background to the story, while her relationship with her family and the inner turmoils about the mob family connection took center stage. Also, her relationship with a boy didn’t take control of the story line too much, which was nice as well. I actually wished the book was longer, because I wanted a bit more action, and understanding about how her world worked more (school seemed unusually normal).
Still highly recommended.
